Camping Vlietland is a family-friendly campsite on a beautiful location at a lake in a recreational area. There is plenty to do in the close vicinity of the campsite, such as discovering Leiden from the canals with one of our rental boats, climbing on a high-ropes parcours and relaxing at one of the beaches surrounding the lake. You can easily reach the city centres of Leiden, The Hague and Delft within 20 minutes, and Rotterdam and Amsterdam in only half an hour. Camping Vlietland is the perfect base to explore the area.
During the months before and after high season it is very quiet en peaceful on the campsite. Pheasants and rabbits pass by your tent and you will never get bored with the panoramic view over the lake. In high season the campsite is pleasantly busy and crowded with playing children, visitors from all over Europe and families.
