Camping Ascou la Forge

The camp-site 'Ascou la Forge' is situated in the middle of the Pyrenees, near the borders of Spain and Andorra. It is a friendly family campsite with spacious tent and caravan places, a comfortable apartment and further all supplies to turn your holiday into a success.

The River Lauze flows past the campsite, leaving small pools of water in which one can bathe or fish. 'Ascou la Forge' is ideal for people who enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, whilst forming a good base for mountain walks and various outdoor sports.

'Ascou la Forge' is to 1100 m above sea level and has fifty full sites of an average surface of 100 m², which are well integrated into the surrounding landscape. In spite of its site in the mountains, the ground is easily accesible for the caravans and the motor home.

The Ariège is a still untouched area, with a rich variety of plants and animals. Around the camp-site there are plenty posibility's to make mountain walks. In our camp-site bar you find extensive information about plant, animals, walking and touristical information.
