Camping Alpenfreude

Camping place Alpenfreude is a perfect camping place for families, quietly situated in the natural site of the Dobratsch. At an altitude of 750 meters above sea level, Camping Alpenfreude has a lovely view of the surrounding mountains, including the Karawanken mountains, and the valley of the Gail river.

We have a total of 150 sites available for tents, caravans and campers, varying in size from 75 to 120 square meters. All camping sites have access to electricity. There are 4 sanitation buildings at your convenience. Camping without your own tent or caravan? No problem: we have a small summerhouse and caravans available for rent.

The pool, which is called ‘Gailtaler Bergbad’ in German, is freely accessible for all camping guests.

Camping Alpenfreude is close to the tripoint of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. It is a good starting point for daytrips, as well as a great place for a short stop if you are in transit towards more southern countries (and vice versa).
