Our campsite.:

The old station is located in the mining town of Altenau at the Western City border. It is located at the end of the Rothenberger Strasse. The Rothenberg with his vast areas of forest extends west of the old station. In the East, the Gerlachsbachtal is located at the foot of the old station. On the other hand, the Glockenberg climbs. The site of the old station is a good view to the Glockenberg . The refuge pond, an idyllic pond in secluded location is located in a southerly direction. North, tapering the former Railway yard and empties into the old railway road, now a walking and cycling path, as a cross-country ski trail in winter is used, and leading the Heller Valley in the mountain and university town of Clausthal-Zellerfeld. The campsite is open all year round.
