Camping Villaggio Gilda

For over thirty years, guests have been enjoying the welcome that our top-class facilities and fine services can provide.

The Villaggio Gilda camp site lies adjacent to the Borsacchio Regional Natural Reserve right on the sea, with its crystal clear shallow waters and private beach with fine sand. About 2 km along the promenade or bike trail is the centre of the lovely town of Roseto degli Abruzzi (Blue Flag since 1999).

A shuttle bus and bike rental are at guests' disposal, ensuring sustainable mobility for all.

Villaggio Gilda has modern shower and toilet facilities, some reserved for people with disabilities and for children. We also have a Baby Room for younger visitors, a laundry and ironing facilities.

Pets are welcome and even have their own hot shower.

The bungalows, located in a peaceful, exclusive area, are fully equipped with everything you might need (cutlery, crockery, etc.) to be completely independent during your holiday.

The Tartarughino (baby turtle) Bar on the beach and the restaurant bar/pizzeria offer you a great welcome, not to mention excellent wines from the hills around Teramo, as well as typical Abruzzo cuisine with freshly-caught fish specialities (even take away).

Entertainment for adults and children provides a great opportunity to enjoy leisure activities and sports, to make new friends and acquaintances and to while away evenings of live music to your heart’s content.

The Villaggio Gilda camp site is a perfect base for breathtaking excursions into the interior – picturesque villages, wonderful walks and the Gran Sasso (which reaches 2914 m), just an hour’s drive away. The tourist office at the Villaggio Gilda camp site is always at hand to give you any advice and information you might need to enjoy the delights of Abruzzo, the so-called “green region of Europe”.
